A Review and Tribute to Generations of Trauma with Lee Hawkins

Merle Heidi Molofsky, MFA, NCPsyA, LP, is a licensed psychoanalyst in private practice in New York State and a writer. Her writings include articles in professional journals and chapters in psychoanalytic books, fiction, and poetry. Her play, Grail Green (1971), was performed at Lincoln Center. International Psychoanalytic Books has published a volume of her poetry, Sh’Ma, I Hear Voices (2024); her novel, Streets 1970 (2015); her collection of short fiction, Necessary Voices (2018); and a volume she edited, Jew-Hating: The Black Milk of Civilization (2023). She serves on the Editorial Boards of The Psychoanalytic Review and The Journal of Controversial Discussions, the Advisory Board and Faculty of Harlem Family Institute, and the faculty of the Training Institute of NPAP.
