Brittney S. Sy

Brittney S. Sy is a fifth-year Counseling Psychology PhD student at the Graduate School of Education at Fordham University, Lincoln Center Campus, New York City. Her primary research and clinical interests are ethnic-racial identity, perfectionism, and people-pleasing among Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) folx. She also hopes to further her research in psychobiography among other influential AAPI and BIPOC (Black, indigenous, and people of color) folx to uplift their stories and demonstrate their interwoven plight of struggle against oppression and marginalization.
