Charles W. Nuckolls
Charles W. Nuckolls, PhD, is professor and former chair in the Department of Anthropology at Brigham Young University. He received his AB in 1979 from the University of Chicago; his MA in 1980 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; and his PhD in 1987 from the University of Chicago. In 1989, he won the Stirling Award for Contributions to Psychological Anthropology. Among his works are Siblings in South Asia: Brothers and Sisters in the Context of Culture (1993), The Cultural Dialectics of Knowledge and Desire (1996), and Culture: A Problem that Cannot Be Solved (1998).
