Daniel Burston, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. He is the author of The Legacy of Erich Fromm (1991), The Wing of Madness: The Life and Work of R.D. Laing (1996), Erik Erikson and the American Psyche: Ego, Ethics and Evolution (2007), and most recently, A Forgotten Freudian: The Passion of Karl Stern (2016).
