Elisabeth Young-Bruehl
Elisabeth Young-Bruehl, PhD, a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and academic, has published the award-winning psychobiographies Hannah Arendt: For Love of the World (1982) and Anna Freud: A Biography (1988), as well as other books such as The Anatomy of Prejudice (1996). She took her doctoral degree in philosophy and has had academic appointments at Wesleyan University and Haverford College. Since 2007 she has lived in Toronto, Canada and is affiliated with the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society. More information can be found in the interview she gave to this journal in December 2005.
