Eric Sterling, PhD, took his doctoral degree at Indiana University in 1992, and is Distinguished Research Professor at Auburn University where he has taught in the Department of English and Philosophy for 19 years. He has published four books, including Life in the Ghettos during the Holocaust (2005), and more than 80 refereed articles. These include essays on bystanders during the Holocaust, Adolf Hitler, Schindler’ List, Jewish ghettos in Poland, Janusz Korczak, Elie Wiesel, and the treatment of homosexuals during the Shoah.
