Henry R. Winkler
Henry R. Winkler, PhD, is President Emeritus of the University of Cincinnati and the former editor of the American Historical Review (1964-1968). He has served in many academic and administrative positions including as University Professor of History at Rutgers where he was academic vice president and acting president for a year prior to guiding Cincinnati as its president from 1977 to 1984. His publications include The League of Nations Movement in Great Britain, 1914-1919 (1967); Great Britain in the Twentieth Century (1965); and British Labour Seeks a Foreign Policy (2005).
