Igor Romanov

Igor Romanov, PhD, is a training analyst with the Ukraine Psychoanalytic Society, a psychologist, and an associate professor of the philosophical faculty of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. He is the author of the papers “Equation, moralization and denial” (2023), “Collective traumas, personal overcoming: In memory of Tatyana Nikolaevna Pushkareva” (2023), “Ambassador of a non-existent country: Thoughts on cruelty, loss, and the death drive” (2017), and “Bion’s adventure in a country without psychoanalysis” (2015). He is the editor of Era of Countertransference: An Anthology of Psychoanalytic Studies (Russian translation 2005, second edition 2022) and editor/translator of works by Melanie Klein, Robert Hinshelwood, John Steiner, Ronald Britton, and others.
