Jay Wentworth, PhD, is an Emeritus Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Appalachian State University. He has degrees in four subjects and training in Gestalt Therapy. He’s also a father of five and grandfather of five, so far! Teaching has been his professional passion, with special interests in myth, coming of age, Japanese literature, and creative writing/performance. He’s taught more than 50 different courses and has team-taught with over 50 colleagues.
