Judith L. Gibbons

Judith Gibbons, PhD, is Professor Emerita of Psychology at Saint Louis University. She is the founding editor of the American Psychological Association Division 52 journal International Perspectives in Psychology. Dr. Gibbons is the author of research studies, chapters, and books on adolescent development, gender roles, and women’s empowerment. In two research studies, she and her collaborators investigated the effectiveness of equine interventions in reducing violence and increasing well-being among at-risk youth and farmers in Guatemala.
