Kathy Kacer is a Canadian author who has written numerous books focusing on stories of the Holocaust and geared to a young readership. She is the recipient of numerous awards for her writing including the Jewish Book Award (Canada, U.S.) and the Yad Vashem Award for children’s Holocaust literature (Israel). She is published in more than 20 countries, teaches at the University of Toronto (Continuing Studies), and lectures around the world on the importance of keeping this history alive for future generations.
