Mehdi Nourian

Mehdi, Nourian, PhD, is a graduate of cultural sociology from the University of Guilan, having previously received MAs in American Studies and Cultural Studies from the University of Tehran and the University of Science and Culture. He is the author of Black Resistance: The Intellectual Convergence Between Martin Luther King and Malcolm X (2023, in Persian) and has authored and co-authored numerous pieces that have been published across different academic journals and texts in both English and Persian. This year, he translated Elovitz’ The Making of Psychohistory into Persian. He teaches contemporary cultural issues, cultural changes, economy and culture, and social deviance at the University of Science and Culture in Tehran. He may be contacted at .
