Paul Giorgianni, LCSW, BCD, before earning his MSW degree, studied clinical counseling at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health and later trained in psychoanalytically-oriented psychotherapy at the Training Institute for Mental Health. He has made professional presentations on such topics as: “When Sex Is Not Just Sex,” “Gay Men and Masculinity,” and “Middle Aged Men and Sex.” This article is from a recent presentation he made to the Arts and Creativity Committee of the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work, where he is a long-time member.
