Rita Ransohoff, PhD and CSW, is a psychotherapist in private practice and a member of the faculty of the New York School of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Previously she taught at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the New York University School of Social Work. Her publications include Venus After Forty: Sexual Myths, Men’s Fantasies, and Truths About Middle-Aged Women (Far Hills, NJ: New Horizon Press, 1987).
