Yuri Urbanovich
Yuri V. Urbanovich, PhD, is Lecturer in the School of Continuing & Professional Studies, The Woodrow Wilson Department of Politics and the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Virginia (UVA). Initially he was International Scholar and subsequently a faculty member at the University’s Center for the Study of Mind and Human Interaction (1992-2003). Formerly, he was a professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1986 to 1987 he served as a consultant to the Soviet delegation at the Geneva Conference on Disarmament. He may be contacted at yu9b@virginia.edu.
